Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Billy found out about human cruelty on a dark rainy night. He was terrified. Thrown into the back seat of a car, he huddled on the floorboard. The car moved and Billy listened to the sounds. Suddenly, the car stopped. The door opened. Billy was grabbed by the neck and tossed to the pavement like garbage. He watches as the car speeds away into the darkness. Billy was dumped in the parking lot of a strip shopping center. It was midnight and not a soul n sight. Billy was afraid and did not move for a long time. He was getting wet. Finally, Billy found the courage to walk up to the dark stores. He leaned up against the building. Sleep did not come that night, only the dreadful fear. Billy watched the night slip away.
We don’t know how many days Billy lived around the shopping center. Some say he was around there a few weeks. We only know a rescuer came and took Billy home. Billy is about 5-8 months old. He is truly an angel dog. He is full of love and affection for people, and he loves other dogs too. His fear has disappeared and he shows gratitude and gentleness to all around him. He seems to understand he was saved from something terrible. And, he was. Billy has a beautiful shiny black coat with a white patch on his chest. He is a star dog and wants to sit in your lap. His wonderful personality shines to all those around him! No one could have a better companion than Billy. He is great with children, adults, and all dogs.
Billy is up for adoption now. He will be adopted out by Adopt a Husky. He has his shots and will be neutered before adoption.
If you are interested in Billy, go to www.adoptahusky.org and complete the application there under ‘how to adopt’ Send the application to adoptahuskyofdallas@ymail.com His adoption fee is $75. Only completed applications will be considered.
