Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ruby Tuesday is a beautiful, smaller framed girl (around 40 pounds). We got her from a hoarding/neglect case along with her new litter of puppies, her adult daughter and her new litter of puppies and yet another litter of pups that belonged to another daughter who was deceased. In all, there were over 40 dogs at the house and, as you can imagine, none were socialized.
Ruby was very scared of people at first but she has blossomed with regular care and attention (which she loves!)
Ruby walks well on a leash, go outside to potty and can usually be found laying under her foster's desk while she works, occasionally licking her feet as if to say 'I'm still down here, mom!'
She gets along with her foster siblings, including a cat who is sure he owns the place.
Ruby has come a long way, baby! She does have a few quirks which her adopter will have to understand and accept. Ruby is afraid of crates but does perfectly left loose in the house. Due to being starved in her former life, Ruby hides food for later. Due to fear of abandonment, she whimpers for about 3-5 minutes when left alone but she quickly settles and is not destructive.
Ruby is a middle aged girl (around 5) and would be her best in a calm home where she can soak up the attention she never got before. She is not needy and is so cute, you will have no problem giving her the love she craves. Ruby is a perfect tv/napping/reading buddy but would also do well as a walking/hiking buddy. she has the best traits of her breeds, all in an adorable, loving package!

Rescue Rowan bases breed descriptions either on what we were told by former owners or our best guess based on appearance. No guarantee of breed is implied.
