Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
You must be 21 to adopt. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN MEETING OR ADOPTING THIS DOG, YOU MUST FIRST FILL OUT AN APPLICATION AT OUR WEBSITE AT http://www.littledogsbigheartsrescue.com/adoption-application/ Please do not send us a message saying you're interested in adopting without filling out an application. An application neither guarantees adoption nor obligates you to adopt- it's just the first step in our process.
Name: Jax
Breed: Miniature Poodle
Gender: Neutered Male
Age: Approx. 4 mos in June ’15
Weight: Approx. 6.5 lbs (still has growing to do)
Energy Level: PUPPY! Playing like a madman or asleep 😉
Apartment Appropriate: No (big bark in that little body!)
Good w/ Dogs: Yes, but is a lot for more mellow dogs
Good w/ Cats: Unknown, but would probably pester them
Good w/ Kids: No kids under 12 please (including regular visitors)
Comments: Jax is ALL PUPPY! He’s very young, very smart, and very energetic. All kisses, jumping, and an all-around sweet little ball of fun! Jax will need daily exercise and, like all puppies, a good deal of training and time. His Poodle coat will require regular maintenance and grooming throughout his life. Jax loves other dogs, and is currently driving his foster brothers and sisters bonkers with his endless desire to play, play play! He gets along and tries to be respectful, but he would not be a good match for a home with mellow pups who don’t appreciate a lot of energy in their face. With Jax’s personality and size, we feel he will do better in an all-adult home or a home with kids 12 and over. He needs gentle people around him. Jax would excel at agility, obedience, or any activity his family wants to involve him in. We will be screening his forever home very carefully. Puppies are a big commitment and require a lot of patience and dedication to help them grow into well-adjusted dogs. If you are ready to make that commitment to Jax, please fill out an application to meet him today!
