COURTESY POST to Rehome a Siamese "Lookalike" aka does not come with papers, or certification of pedigree.

We have a wonderful 8 yr old Siamese cross (10/16/06) that came to our clinic last December with upper respiratory issues and the owner wanted her euthanized due to cost concerns. Our veterinarian did not feel euthanasia was an appropriate response to Ming’s symptoms and asked the owner if she would relinquish her to us instead. She tested negative for both FeLV and FIV. However, her lab work shows she is positive for Calicivirus and Mycoplasma. We have been treating her here at the clinic and she is currently receiving eye ointment daily. We will likely start her back on antibiotics. We believe she is best suited as an only cat or in a home with a cat with her same condition.

Ming is an absolutely wonderful cat that would love to be a forever lap cat to an owner willing to take on her special needs. She is very laid back and easily handled. Our doctor would be more than willing to discuss her health issues in greater depth if necessary. Our staff has grown very fond of her but we truly believe she deserves a home to call her own. We have been trying on our own to find her a home, to no avail. Hopefully, with your assistance, that home can be found.
