Meet our newest Diva, Lilly! Lilly’s stay with us was supposed to be temporary, but life changed for her owner and it was decided that it was best for Lilly to find herself a more stable home, so now she’s available for adoption! Lilly is 2.5yrs old, 16lbs of attitude, she’s fully vetted and healthy. The little lady, in true diva style, is picky about her dog friends; she’s met a variety while in our care and she plays well with submissive dogs, but will pick fights with dogs that think a little lady can be bossed around. She has not bonded with the other dogs in her foster home, so she would be content as an only dog as long as her new home has the time to give her the attention a princess deserves. When Lilly arrived, she had some significant anxiety that presented itself in unpredictable urination, it was particularly worse when around men. This behavior has improved, but potential adopters should be aware that she will likely regress a bit when adopted until she’s comfortable in her new home and stressful situations may cause her to release her bladder without warning. Lilly is friendly to people and has been exposed to some dog-savvy kids without any issues. She’s an active and playful dog that enjoys toys and chews, and she is leash trained, house trained, crate trained and has basic manners!
