My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Raja (short for maharaja, which means ‘king’ in Hindi). Raja is an adorable 6-month-old, 32-lb boy rescued from the streets of New Delhi, India. Raja looks like a small doberman mix. He was dumped with two other puppies when they were just a mere 5 weeks old outside a dog boarding facility (Happy Paws) in New Delhi, India. They were thin and sickly-looking when found but are now fully recovered and thriving.

Tragically, the littlest sister could not be brought back from the brink of malnutrition, and passed away shortly after being dumped. However, under Arti’s careful guidance and care at Happy Paws Medical Boarding in New Delhi, India, both Raja and Rani not only survived – but after treatment, nutritious food, supplements, and tons of TLC – thrived!

Raja has a lovely, sweet temperament. Raja adores human attention and is very affectionate.
Raja is adapting well to life in a home and is cage trained, walks well on a leash and is learning basic obedience very quickly - he is such a smart boy with a easy-temperament, mild-mannered temperament.

This adorable pair flew to Chicago on July 1st from India to find their forever homes. Raja is now being fostered in Wonder Lake, IL (NW Suburb of Chicago)
