My story

Maverick came to us from our lovely friends at Bullies In Need out of Ontario. He has now joined our program and we look forward to seeing him live muzzle free in BC!

This handsome ham is Maverick! A happy-go-lucky boy, he’s found refuge with us at Sit Pretty Pit after being in Ontario and he cannot wait to meet his forever family.

Full of curiosity, Maverick loves to be involved in all daily activities and exploring the world around him. Aloof and energetic, Maverick would love a forever family where he’d get plenty of outdoor exercise; he lives for bike rides where he can burn off all his energy.

Maverick has no issues with being left alone in his crate while you’re out running errands or working, but definitely needs plenty of exercise to help settle him down before and after you leave. Maverick would strive in a home that can provide him with rules and structure to help him be the best dog he can be.

Maverick is improving daily on his listening skills and leash manners, and is definitely full of potential. He interacts well with other dogs but hasn’t had any interactions with cats, so a slow introduction would be necessary.

Maverick is working on remembering not to jump up on new people but is great with children once he calms down. He truly just wants to be a member of the family!
