Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello future family!
My name is Timothy and, according to my foster momma, there is a chance that I am the best Great Dane that has ever lived!
I am a very handsome two year old, Blue European Great Dane.
I am crate trained. It’s my favorite place!
I am leash trained.
I am gentle.
I am quiet (except whenever I think you should know about someone at the door).
I am housebroken.
I am loving and polite.
I have great manners!
I love treats and will do anything for one , including tricks!
I love giving and receiving hugs!
I get along with people and dogs.
I am young but don’t have puppy tendencies.
Most of all, I am happy!
Thus far, none of my past homes have been my forever home. Thanks to you (I hope it’s you!), I can live out the rest of my life making my new family the happiest they can be.
At the moment, I am quite skinny. Because of that, I am very mellow and sleep a lot. Don’t let that fool you, I still love to bounce around the yard when you let me out. But then it takes all of my energy to keep my eyes open and I sleep and sleep and sleep… unless you get up. I can’t resist following you around to see what you’re doing.
Although I don’t currently live with any other dogs, I have lived with some in the past and have met a lot of them, of all shapes and sizes, when I go on walks. I have met Pit Bulls and Labs and Boston Terriers and even Chihuahuas – I loved all of them!
I haven’t met any cats, but I get excited to see bunnies hop around, so don’t be surprised if I chase my new feline brother or sister.
Remember when I mention how skinny I am? I have been telling my foster momma that I have had to guard my food and bones because they were always stolen from me. It’s why I’m so skinny! I guess that’s why I was accused of being dominant in the past.
Now that I no longer must guard my food and bones, I am getting better, especially once I realize that I will no longer be deprived of a full belly.
This will probably be something that you will have to continue working on with me, especially if you have kids or other dogs that might want to take things from me. If you are ready to work on it, I’m willing to work on it with you, too!
I warm up to strangers quickly.
Unfortunately, not all strangers appreciates my slobbery personality.
Oh, did I mention how much I drool? My foster momma pretty much gave up on trying to keep my jowls from dripping. I just like to keep everything watered… including your lap!
Speaking of water, if you ever need to have your plants watered, I’d be happy to “drool” them for you!
Who can resist my droopy face, I personally think it’s what makes me so handsome.
I hope you like me, I can’t wait to find my new home!
