Here's what the humans have to say about me:
**Anna is currently being fostered by a wonderful and loving family in Houston,
Texas and she’s available for out-of-state adoption.**
Meet Anna! She is a super spunky 4 month old pup. Her breed like many of our rescued pups is a bit of a mystery, but she appears to be a Jack Russell Terrier mix. What is certain is that she is 100% adorable and fun! She'll probably be medium sized at about 25 pounds as a full grown adult. She is the smallest of her litter, but has an awesome personality.
A very kind and compassionate person found Anna, her mom and siblings being given away when the pups were just 2 weeks old. She kindly gave mama and her babies a safe place to stay until they were strong enough to join new families separate from their mom’s care. They are all now happy, healthy and ready to find their forever families.
She is an active and joyful puppy and would do well in a family that is looking to get a companion for their current dog or can devote a lot of time to her and take her to the dog park for socialization. She plays beautifully with the 4 dogs she's living with right now in her foster family. She plays hard, but she also sleeps hard too. A good day for Anna is an hour play outside with the other dogs and a long walk…then about a 2 hour siesta. She adores running around and hanging out in the backyard. She hasn't visited the local dog park yet, but we are sure she will love it.
She is enamored with all water activities! She is a water dog through and through. When she was just a little pup she would try and swim in her water bowl for fun. Now that she's a bit older, she doesn't need the water bowl as her pool because she has a real swimming pool to play in. She’s hysterical to watch as she gets in and out of the water, splashing and you can almost see the glee in her eyes. We think this girl would have the time of her life on a beach, lake or river adventure.
Just recently she has started training with a harness during leash walking and she’s learning quickly. Potty training is also in full effect and she’s about 90% currently. She is a typical, silly puppy when it comes to her love of chewing and carrying things around. Sticks, toys and anything lying around is assumed to be free game right now, but she’s a great listener and when we say Ahhh quickly to her she stops in her tracks. She needs continued training in all puppy shenanigans and lots of proper chew toys, antlers and more to keep her busy.
She's a smart girl and will do very well in puppy training classes. She already sits for her treats, takes them gently out of our hands and shares her food with the other pups. She is a bit of a barker when she’s excited or when she wants your attention.
Belly rubs are a must in Anna’s life! She will roll over for you if she even thinks you might be willing to give her one. She also rolls over for her furry friends in hopes that maybe they will figure it out too. Anna is super sweet and has a matching personality. She currently sleeps in bed with her foster mom and thinks that is the best thing ever. She’s small enough to fit and warm enough to keep you comfy. Waking up next to this sweetheart with endless puppy kisses is the best way to start the day. Couch cuddles during movie night are also on her things to do list!
She does well with all dogs, kids, cats and shows affection to all. She is already spayed, micrcochipped, had all of her vaccinations and has a clean bill of health. She is ready to join her new family now and start bonding and playing!
If this delightful, petite pup is the perfect girl for your family, please email us at adoptions@reggiesfriends.org. She is currently living in Houston, Texas and available for adoption in your area. Her adoption fee is $450 to cover the cost of her airline flight, travel kennel and comfy travel bed.
