My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Marren is 7.5 year old female Newf who was surrendered when her owner moved into a small apartment. We think she was not socialized properly as a puppy and so she's fearful and hesitant in new situations. She loves women but is not comfortable around men. She has some allergies and is on a grain-free food and takes generic Benadryl daily. This seems to be helping. Madden is a total and complete love bug. She is beyond sweet and is very mellow. Walks well on a leash. Good with dogs and is VERY interested in cats. She's pretty sensitive so a home with a calm family and a predictable home life would be best. She probably would not do well with small children. Marren cringes a little when new people reach out a hand to her and she barks at them. She's been trained to puppy pads but will do her business outside, too. A family that can continually reassure her that she is loved and safe would be her wish come true!
