Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pico is a senior Min Pin who acts like a puppy! He's so full of spunk we couldn't believe it when the shelter guessed he was 8-10 year old. Pico is about 10 pounds and gets along with other dogs large and small. He loves to be out in the backyard. It takes very special people to adopt senior dogs. Min Pins live long lives often to 15-16 years old, so really Pico is in his golden years :) Pico is fully vetted including a dental and is healthy. His adoption fee is $175.

Happy Tails Rescue Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit foster-based rescue based in Munster, Indiana (which borders our former Lansing, IL location). We have no shelter, all of our animals are cared for in loving foster homes until their forever home match is found. All of our animals are fully vetted before adoption, including distemper, rabies, and bordatella vaccines, a heartworm test, fecal test, microchip, and are spayed/neutered. Adoption fees range from $150-$350. If you're interested in meeting one of our animals please fill out an application first. If approved we will then arrange a meet and greet. Happy Tails does not do same day adoptions because we do a short home visit to make sure our animals are being placed in safe environments. Please copy and paste this link to our application, or email emily@happytailrescue.org:
