Hula is a young, tan with black fur around her muzzle female Shepard/Black Mouth Cur mix. She will probably be a medium to large sized adult when she matures.
Some Samaritans witnessed Hula and her four sister siblings being dumped out of a truck in a neighborhood near a military base. The Samaritans quickly worked for two days to put the scared five litter mates back together in a safe place.
Hula has a very sweet, lovable and happy personality. She is definitely a companion dog. Once she warms up to you, she wants you to play with her and she wants to be where ever you are at. She is very smart. She is learning sit and how to walk nicely on a leash. She is also adjusting to her crate training.
She will do well in an active and calm family where she will get daily walks, hikes or runs. Also she will do best in a family that will be patient while she gains confidence and works through her shy and timid personality. After some adjustment time with her new family she will benefit from meetups where she can socialize with other humans and dogs.
