My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey look at me my name is Chutney, I am a black female Chow Chow approximately 2-3 years of age and I would really like to find my forever family where I can have a forever home to call my own and sleep on a doggy bed!!

You see I have lived my life in a puppy mill, but I am ready to put that life behind me and start a new one. Since being in rescue I have learned that unfamiliar people, objects, sounds and real-life situations are not as scary as I thought. Living a life in a puppy mill you do not get to experience the real world...so far I like it but really want to have a family.

I am shy at first, but once I get to know you a bit, I am joyous, silly and fun-loving gal!

They say I am playful and quite the character!

Once Chutney gets to know you, she adores a good scratch all over.

I have met other dogs, although I do not enjoy rough play, I will try to get away and show teeth as I try to retreat. I enjoy to go for a walk with canine buddies, but still need some work walking on a leash, as I tend to pull to get where I want to go.

I really would like an experienced adopter with a quiet household, who can continue to show me the real world and help me overcome some of my fears.
