Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This friendly guy was caught in a live trap. He had a severe gash on his leg that required surgery to clean up the wound. It was at this time that we found out he was positive for both FIV (feline AIDS) and FeLV (feline Leukemia). He then tested negative for FIV in September 2015, so it is believed first FIV test was a false positive.
Tazz was a shelter and vet favorite from the very beginning because of his fantastic personalty. He loves to flop and be petted.
Tazz would need a home as an only cat, or with other FeLV positive cats.
Tazz has been at animal control for a long time and needs someone loving to take care of him. We are having difficulties finding a rescue or sanctuary that has an open space for Tazz and are doing everything we can to find him a home or rescue so as to not have him end up at Oakland County where he would be put down if they chose to do so per the contract that City of Hazel Park has with Oakland County.
If you are interested in fostering or adopting, or if you are a registered non profit no kill rescue interested in pulling Tazz, please contact Hazel Park Animal Control at 248.546.4096. Rescues please inquire about any PAAWS fees that may be applicable
