Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Baby....his name fits him perfectly! He is one big sweetheart of a baby. This sweet angel has a tragic story. I rescued him within minutes of his scheduled euthanasia and do you know why he almost died? Because his owner dropped him off at the shelter because "he is too old." According to the shelter manager, the man walked in, dropped him off, and said "bye dude" as he carelessly walked out and left his companion that he had since he was 8 weeks old. Baby is an incredibly loving, sweet, sweet boy and I feel terrible for his predicament. To make a long story short, I had pulled baby from the shelter for a friend who said she had wanted to care for him and that she was going to do it on her own. I was completely unable to care for him myself at the time because I was overwhelmingly full. Well after I pulled him, my "friend" then decided she was not in a place to take on another dog. So I was stuck with a dog that I had absolutely no possible room for except to leave him outside and to switch him in and out with the other dogs. For weeks it was a nightmare. He finally is able to be inside and has his own room now that I have been able to get some dogs adopted out. But a few days ago, one of the other dogs attacked him and he had to have surgery :((( precious baby has had it so rough and it kills me that he is going through all of this scary change and im sure he feels very alone. I do my best to comfort and love on him but with all of the dogs that have been dumped at my house, I truky have an impossible time dividing my attention. Baby needs a forever home and he needs it fast. Someone who is willing to show him what real love is like! He has so many good years ahead of him and he deserves to be shown what he has been deprived of for the last 8 years.
Baby will need some work training-wise but is VERY eager to please and I have zero doubt that his training will be successful very quickly.
He has been neutered and vaccinated and his adoption fee is $150 (large dogs are normally $225), and it includes his neuter and vaccines, a large bag of food, bowls, collar, leash and a toy. Please consider giving this ANGEL the love he so greatly needs and deserves
