My story

THIS IS A COURTSEY POST! I am a stray. I was on my own for about 3 weeks running the streets searching for food /shelter and running from all humans who tried to catch me. Two ladies finally trapped me; , I was afraid. I was taken to her garage where 13 ticks were pulled from all over my body; I never flinched! I was bathed and cleaned up and treated for the ticks. I was taken to a veterinarian and found to be in pretty good shape despite my ordeal. I was given my vaccines and started on antibiotics as precaution. I am heartworm negative and current on prevention. The lady who helped me was supposed to take me to Animal Control after allowing me to rest; however, this lady who is now my friend, saw something amazing in my personality and my disposition. I play wonderfully with all canines big and small, I walk great on the leash and love long walks and hikes. I have transitioned well with some structure and positive guidance and play daily with my foster siblings. I'm a tad bit shy when meeting new human friends but warm up very quickly. I have come to like this big place of a world, not so bad after all except for one thing : I'm still homeless and really need a family of my own . \r\nIf your interested in meeting me, please email fkbmom@wowway.com , I am currently in Brook Park, Ohio.
