My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Brady lost his home when his companion passed away, and arrived at the shelter in late May, very lonely, sad and confused. Within a couple of days he started to adjust, seeking out any bit of human attention we could provide, and enjoys sitting on our laps and receiving a lot of affection. Within a week we were all very surprised to see how positively this lover boy responded to living among other cats and being with several different people each day. He is absolutely loving his new, active social life (though he does hate living in a cage, of course!). He defers to the more dominant male cats, and the lady cats are not the least bit threatened by him. He seems like the perfect candidate for any type of home -- with other cats, with a dog that is accustomed to living with cats, and with children who understand cats as well. Oh, and did we mention? He's a lap cat too!

Brady is neutered, box-trained, current on vaccinations and tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia. He is 6.5 years old. Adoption fee for adult cats is $50 (cash or check only, please). For more information on Brady, or an adoption application, email ClayvilleCritters@cox.net, call the shelter at (401) 647-7200, or visit the shelter during regular hours: Tue, Wed, Fri 8 to 11 a.m., Thursday 6 to 9 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
