My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rusty is a charming and lovable guy. He is currently looking for a home because his mom is sick. She wants to find him a home that will give him plenty of love and attention. Rusty’s mom loves him very much and has spoiled him for many years but being sick and having a toddler at home has made her realize that as her illness progresses Rusty may be left with not a lot of time for playing so she is ready to find him a new home. Rusty is quite an impressive dog. He is infant, toddler, kid, dog and cat friendly. Can you imagine? He is a perfect gentleman and as lovable as they come. Rusty is housebroken and a perfect dog. Although he is ten years young he is in perfect health and looking forward to a new adventure and a new home.

*Rusty comes to TOTT from Maryland, through the referral of his owner. TOTTSHR works with families to help find new homes for their dogs when the families have extenuating circumstances, such as an illness, that prevent them from being able to care for their canine friends. If not enough foster space is currently available to bring a dog into rescue, and if the family is willing to continue caring for the dog until he or she can be placed in a new home, we post the dog on this page to help the family find their friend a new home.
