Godiva chocolate is smooth and sweet. Unfortunately our Godiva’s past hasn’t been that smooth, but she is still very sweet. Life has been tough for Godiva but she has remained happy, playful and loving. She was not treated very nicely by the man of the house in her last home. Because of that, she is somewhat afraid of people she is unfamiliar with, but once she gets to know you, she loves for you to pet her and will shower you with kisses. She is currently attending obedience classes to help boost her confidence and is doing better and better every week. She knows sit, does pretty well walking on a loose lead and is working on down.
Godiva isn’t the biggest fan of being crated but sleeps crated every night without any fussing. When left home crated she will cry and bark for a few minutes then quiets down nicely.
Godiva has done well with all the dogs she has met so far and she loves to play with her foster brothers and sisters. When it comes to playing you’d never guess that she’s several years older than the two other “foster pups” at her foster home. She actually wears them both out and is still raring to go. The dogs her age and older will play with her for a short while but she outlasts them by a mile. But she’s not all about play. For as much as she loves to play she loves to snuggle and get pettin’s even more and is a perfect little lady when she's indoors.
Godiva is now enjoying a carefree life that all dogs deserve and looking forward to her future. Wouldn’t you love to be the center of her future?
Godiva is a female, between 2 and 3 years old, has brown eyes and is a husky/shepherd mix. She can be high energy, but also will join you on the couch! She likes kids, adults, dogs and cats the same! She'll need at least a 5 ft. fence and she is very curious.
