Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Max is a 4 year old purebred soft coated wheaten terrier! His DOB is 6/11/11. He was evaluated by a trainer on 5/28/15. This is what he had to say about Max:
He is extremely intelligent, playful, high energy, and responded fabulously to positive reinforcement techniques. He already knows a plethora of tricks, but, reactive to dogs and cats, on leash. From what I was told, he is also reactive in the car. He's previously lunged at two strange men, while on leash, making contact, and tearing clothing, but, never left a mark, and never drew blood. One of the instances, was when a strange man came walking by them, from behind, on their walk, The other instance was when they were standing on the sidewalk talking to their neighbor. He accepted me willingly, as he has with friends of the family, and their adult children. I was told, he did not do so well at the dog park. I think a dog park was just a bit to much to fast, only being in the home for less than a week.
I ran a gambit of tests, and he showed no signs of aggression whatsoever towards me, or a man standing on the sidewalk, as we passed. However, he did go over threshold when a cat ran by us.
In my opinion, he would do best in a home with no pets, or young children. Lots of exercise and mental simulation would go a long way.
He also graduated from a group class, which is one of the pics below.
If I could, I would take him myself in a NY second! No pun intended.
He's a sweet kissy, loving boy, that just needs the right home and committed pet parent.
