Kismet is a beautiful 1-1/2 year-old Pit Bull mix. He is loving and affectionate and is looking for someone who has the time and energy to help him get over his fears. Kismet has been living for the past seven months in a foster home with another dog, but his foster mom can't keep him much longer. He was in an abusive situation for the first seven months of his life and was on the way to the park to be abandoned when his current foster parent saved him from what was probably a bad ending.

Kismet gets along with other dogs but tends to be fearful of people and situations until he's had enough time to get used to being around them. He is eager to please and knows quite a few commands and is very obedient. He spends his nights in a crate and his days outdoors and need toys and chews to keep him busy so he doesn't get bored bored. His favorite thing is to run like a Cheetah off leash in a back yard or similar safe place.

Kismet is neutered and has had all his shots.
