My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

When we heard about Buddy, he was in a shelter with a 12-pound lipoma hanging from his tummy. He had been picked up as a stray, but he could barely walk. He had surgery to remove the tumor and then battled pneumonia and overall neglect from his former life. He is one tough cookie!

Buddy is a big sweetie, weighing in at about 100 pounds. He loves mealtime and likes to talk while his food is being made. He is also good at sneaking a snack or two off of the table if given the chance. He is a Weim, after all!

He spends most of his day laying under warm blankets. He is an old gentleman who just wants to chill. There are cats and dogs at his foster home and he likes hanging with everyone.

Buddy just needed a little love and faith, and now his gratitude is never-ending. He loves and appreciates every day with his whole heart.

He does not need to be crated and has had no accidents. He can free roam while you are gone – well, we use that term loosely. He will keep his orthopedic bed warm while you are gone and will probably be in the exact same place when you get home.
