My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Vera came to Rocket Dog by way of Madera. 2 weeks ago a rancher found her where she was dumped in the cottonwood creek and left to her fate. She was brought to the very overcrowded and dismal shelter where the future again looked bleak…until we saw this face on their website…!

Shes a boxer mix, around 6 months, submissive yet very friendly, housebroken and quiet, a happy upbeat girl with a beautiful soft energy. Great with other dogs, great with people, if you have a cat this is the tender age to introduce them, she’s a very quick study on the do’s and dont’s of civilized living.

This is a great family dog, naturally wants to get along so training will be a breeze, yet training she will need.
