My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Miles. He is an 8 year old purebred Shih-tzu. .He weighs 20lbs.

He came from a puppy mill original and was a “breeder” dog. Then he ended up at the spca and was adopted out to an elderly couple. He loved them very, very much. Last year his mom passed away, and sadly now his dad is going into a senior citizen living home – so could not keep Miles. He is used to spending his days hanging out by his persons side.

He is now with us in foster care, and doing well. He is good with other dogs, mostly ignores them. He loves to sit by his persons side and just hang out. He is a low energy dog, would love to find someone who would love the company of a mellow, sensitive sweet older boy. He is truly a love.
