Everyone needs a Girl Friday! Unfortunately we only have the one, so you'd better act fast.
Friday is about 3 years old.
She is HW negative, up to date on shots, house trained, leash trained and spayed.
She came to us from Sulphur Animal Control, and I've almost never seen a more well adjusted, happy, loving little dog, straight out of the shelter. Usually even the best socialized dogs are a bit traumatized, but not our girl Friday. She trotted into the house with her tail curled and her ears up, and immediately started trying to play with everyone. She does seem to have a little bit of an alpha streak, so she would be best with another easy going small dog. She doesn't like aggressive large dogs.
She's a snuggle bunny with a huge heart and a loving personality. She likes to play with you just before bed and nurse on a blanket at night, so we suggest giving her a pillow case or small blanket of her own. She's overweight right now, so we're peeling the pounds off of her before we send her out, and her adopter will need to be aware of the weight management issue.
Because of her small size we are listing her as no small children, and because of the fact that her adopter will need to be firm in not overfeeding, giving people food, or overdoing the treats, we are listing her as experienced adopter only. She has not been exposed to cats or older children yet, so we cannot say how she will act with them.
