My story

Check out this HUNK! Pinot (aka Max) is a 2 year old pit bull/lab mix who gets along well with other dogs (with careful introductions of course), cats, and kids! Max has been evaluated by a behavior professional who says that he is a "great dog" and "very well balanced." We agree! He's very affectionate and loving, but he's not an in your face kind of dog. Pinot/Max is looking for an owner who will take him for lots of walks and cuddle with him on the couch. He's been around kids as young as 2 and is very gentle with them. He'd be a great family dog! Max has a couple more weeks of antibiotics for his heartworm treatment. He's very lucky that he had a very low positive. After the antibiotics and a year of monthly heartworm preventative medication (just like every dog needs) he will test negative again! This is no big deal and does not slow him down so please don't pass him over just because of this. We can't say enough great things about this sweet handsome boy!
