Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sometimes, we ask what is rescue about, are we doing the right thing, we are overwhelmed, tired, stressed, unjustly attacked at times. Opie IS the definition of what Royalty Dog Rescue is about, and stands for. Opie is a healthy weight after 5 1/2 months, weighing in at 122 lbs, he has no more bleeding from his eyes or nose, he is active, and has known love from his fosters. He is mended, physically, socially and emotionally. I am so proud of everyone that has helped him along the way, thank you to our vets and all of the staff at Danville Veterinary Clinic, for the amazing care that they not only show him, but, to all of our royals. When we look at pictures of him from that first night, and today, we get chills. We never thought he would make it that first weekend, after being starved from no food for weeks. Now, today, Opie is ready for his next step, adoption. He is doing that wonderful, and we could not be happier or prouder!
Opie has been neutered, is heartworm negative, current on his shots, and has been micro-chipped. Opie is a 6 year old deaf Great Dane, who is also housebroken. He will require a fenced in yard as well.
Opie’s adoption donation is $300.00
All of our Royal's are spayed or neutered, brought current on all shots, including rabies and bordetella, heartworm tested, wormed, microchipped and receive a dental if needed.
An application must be completed, submitted and approved prior to meeting any of our Royal Prince and Princesses. A completed application does not guarantee adoption approval
If interested in adopting into your family, please download an adoption application at our web site http://www.royaltydogrescue.com
