Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
JAKE has had a rough week. This 7 month old Golden Retriever/Collie mix has been bounced around between three different homes in the past week alone before finally ending up here.
His original owners were overwhelmed with too many dogs, so they rehomed Jake to a woman who intended to keep him, but unfortunately no one has ever shown Jake what a real home is like, so when she left for work, he panicked and accidentally pulled down the curtains.
She called a friend of hers and told her Jake needed to leave immediately. Her friend took Jake home and was willing to keep him, but all it took was one growl from her other dog, and less than an hour later, Jake was packed back up in the car and taken to New Lease on Life.
Jake is understandably very scared right now, but he enjoys the company of other dogs and loves people. He just needs a home with a bit of patience and understanding who can teach him how to behave.
He is currently around 35 pounds and extremely underweight. We're expecting him to be around 50 to 60 pounds full grown and up to his ideal weight.
