My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Milou is a handsome white kitty with a charming personality. He came to us from Anchorage Animal Care and Control after he was picked up as a stray. He was in rough shape, with a kitty cold and some dirty, matted fur. Our loving veterinary staff at VCA Alpine fixed him right up and he is better than ever! Milou is now neutered, healthy and ready for a forever home and his own person to love. He is an adult kitty and is mellow, relaxed and easy-going. He enjoys being near his people and after being out on the street, is appreciative of a warm bed (or a soft lap) and a bowl full of kibble. If you are looking to add a sweet, sensitive and handsome man in your life, please meet Milou!


There is an adoption fee of $120.00 for adult cats and $175.00 for kittens and home visits may be required. If you reside outside the local area there are some different requirements. Personal referrals, a vet referral, an agreement to be responsible for transportation (both ways if necessary) and a commitment to returning the pet to Kitty and K-9 if the placement does not work or your situation changes where you cannot keep the pet. Depending on the circumstances, there may be other requirements as well. Our commitment is to the homeless animals we rescue; we devote tons of love, time, energy and money to their rescue, medical bills and care.
