Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jessee is a lovely and reserved Greyhound that was part of an "oops" litter and since her heritage was uncertain--she could not go on to race. She and her entire litter were placed into the adoption program shortly after their birthday--January 6, 2013. She was adopted at a young age by a family that can no longer keep her due to transitional issues and now she is in foster care. Her foster Mom summed it up nicely, "She is sweet and gentle...a beautiful and kind dog"...that will need someone who is "sensitive' to help build up her confidence and trust.
Jessee has always been in a home that included dogs--she does not seem to be assertive enough to live as an "only dog". That said, she is very sweet and cordial to other sizes and breeds of dogs. There's a very good chance that she might be okay with cats--but we will need to test her to be sure. She has very nice house manners and loves to curl up in a chair--how sweet is that? Jessee would do well in a home that is quieter and with at least one dog to be her buddy when her family is away.
