My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Venetian is a lovely, dark brindle Greyhound that has retired from racing. She had an impressive career with 163 races, on record--and get this--she won or placed in 82 of them. She is a fun and lively Greyhound with lots of love and life to give. Her birthday is November 8, 2009 and she is registered with the National Greyhound Association.

We're excited to be sending her to a foster home this week where she can master the art of snoozing on couches and dog beds. Venetian is great on the leash and affectionate (especially when she is given doggy treats-yum)! She would be a great addition to any family. She hasn't been tested with small dogs or cats and she hasn't lived in a home with children. We promise to keep you posted as she settles in to her foster home. Adopt Venetian--she's a winner!
