My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Vixen is an active, playful kitty that originally came to us from Anchorage Animal Care and Control with her four kittens, and all were rescued by Kitty and K-9 Connection. Although she was barely out of kittenhood herself, Vixen took great care of her kittens and they all were adopted. Vixen came back to us when her family had difficulties and decided they couldn't keep her any longer. She is two years old and loves to chase any type of toy on a string. She is outgoing, affectionate and likes to keep busy; she is talkative when she has something important to say. This young gal would make a wonderful companion for a family looking for an older kitten, or very active cat. There is an adoption fee of $120.00 for adult cats and $175.00 for kittens and home visits may be required. If you reside outside the local area there are some different requirements. Personal referrals, a vet referral, an agreement to be responsible for transportation (both ways if necessary) and a commitment to returning the pet to Kitty and K-9 if the placement does not work or your situation changes where you cannot keep the pet. Depending on the circumstances, there may be other requirements as well. Our commitment is to the homeless animals we rescue; we devote tons of love, time, energy and money to their rescue, medical bills and care.
