Zelda is a young, female, all-black German Shepherd Dog. We estimate she's only about two years old--still and adolescent. Zelda is learning to trust people, and the world around her. Life hasn't been good, and it takes her some time to warm up. A patient person is rewarded with the friendship of this very sweet, charming young lady. She loves to play with other dogs. She's uncertain how she should feel about cats. She doesn't like loud noises or quick movements, so we think she would do best in a quiet home, without small kids. She is already crate trained. In fact, she appreciates having a safe spot to retreat to when she's feeling uneasy or just wants to take things in at her own pace. Zelda thrives on calm, patient energy, and she responds very well to positive, consistent training. She will blossom into a wonderful dog, once she finds the special person who will make her feel secure and loved.
