Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Manu is an 8 to 10 years old Shepherd Dog mix. He is neutered, potty-trained, crate-trained, leash trained and a very very submissive and friendly dog.
Manu was rescued from a horrific dog shelter situation in Taiwan. Because of Manu's gentle, loving, easy and not needy personality, he got the attention of one of the volunteers when he was rescued. Manu rarely barks, doesn't whine or complaint. He stayed away from aggressive dogs and he kept a low profile. The volunteer saw how gentle and loving Manu was, she sponsored him to find a forever loving home in Southern California.
In the past three months, Manu went through behavior tests, physical exam, quarantine, x-ray, blood tests and updating all of the shots. Manu passed all of the tests and is fully healthy. After 14 hours and 6794 miles of flight, Manu finally landed in Los Angeles on 4/14/2015. It's a strange land for Manu, but it's also a land full of hope. Manu, with his big brown eyes, is learning the new smell of air, the feel of grass, the freshness of water and the loving of people.
Manu is house trained, doesn't bark, doesn't whine, doesn't dig and is a very well-behaved dog. Manu is GREAT with adults (men/women), kids of all ages, dogs, cats and other animals. He enjoys human affection but not the needy type of dog. He's shy and nervous at first, but once he warms up he is so sweet and has so much to offer. He is one of the easiest and sweetest dogs we had ever fostered. If you love a gentle and medium energy companion, Manu will be a great fit.
