Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Gremlin is a ~2yr old tabby and white spayed female cat with quite the unique look! From her somewhat scrunched up face, her enormous ears, and her one eye, Gremlin's definitely not your run of the mill cat. She has serious internet meme potential, but even if that's not your thing, Gremlin could be the cat for you!
Gremlin was found as a stray last summer. She was very skinny and had clearly been on her own for awhile...and wasn't very good at it. She is A+ at staying inside and eating food out of a bowl though! She has no interest in going outside and that's for the best. She is spayed, vaccinated, and FelV/FIV negative.
Gremlin loves to be around people and has a funny little voice she'll talk to you in, but she's not high maintenance. She's not a lap cat and she won't demand a lot of attention from you. If you're looking for a companion, but are worried you don't have the time for a younger cat who wants to play or be pet a lot, then Gremlin's a great choice. She likes attention if she gets it, but doesn't mind if you're working long days, go away for the weekend, or just aren't the person who likes to hug and squeeze cats. (In fact, if you are a cat-hugger, she's probably not the right cat for you.)
Gremlin wants to be your one and only! Unfortunately Gremlin wasn't a fan of cats before she lost an eye...and with another cat being the culprit of the eye injury, she really really doesn't like them now. She probably would prefer not to live with a dog either. However, she has lived with a house rabbit and pet rats, and she would do great with any of those if you have them!
Gremlin's foster parent is moving out of the country and Gremlin's losing her home soon! We want to place Gremlin into the right place. If you're looking for a quirky, low maintenance cat, then email today!

Please bear in mind that we take several applications on each of our adoptable cats, and the best match possible is made in both the interest of the cat and the adopter. Our adoption process is deliberate and careful, as the animal you adopt is your responsibility for the duration of his or her lifetime. It is our mission to find the best permanent home for each of our adoptable cats.
The Philly Kitty rescues abandoned & stray animals by providing them with high-quality veterinary care, behavioral evaluations, and diligent screening of prospective adopters. Adopting a companion animal is a commitment for life and a decision that should be carefully thought out. All adoptable cats and kittens are located in foster care. Our foster home situation allows adopters to interact with the cat or kitten in a comfortable atmosphere or even at your own home. Additionally, we provide post-adoption resources and assistance if needed. The Philly Kitty works in partnership with Cinnaminson Animal Hospital & Caring Hands Veterinary Care.
Our Adoption Fee is $95 & it includes a complete medical exam, age appropriate vaccinations including rabies, spaying or neutering, feline leukemia (FeLV) & FIV testing, microchipping, preventative flea treatment, de-worming, and any other medically appropriate treatment as needed. Common ailments such as upper respiratory infections and bacterial infections, as well as any other medical issues, are treated to prior to adoption.
