My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Brooks the Survivor is still waiting on his perfect furever home! This adorable 6 month old Dane/Mastiff mix has come from the most horrible condition imaginable, and has grown into the sweetest, happiest family dog you've ever met! He absolutely loves kids of all ages and is great with all other dogs - he has been raised with a large pack of small to large dogs and 2 small children. He loves car rides, playing with his kiddos, soft beds, and new chew toys. He's a medium-energy boy who doesn't dig or display any destructive tendencies. He would really love a home with kids and other dogs to grow up with. He is crate & house trained, and has gorgeous house manners - he recently started sleeping on a dog bed at night, uncrated. His adoption fee is $120, and includes his Neuter, Shots, Microchip, and Sentinel. He apparently came from some sort of breeder originally - when we got him at 10 weeks his tail had been docked and his dew claws removed. He was suffering from acute Demodectic mange and bacterial infections, and was on the edge of death. At 5 months, he had a relapse of Demodectic mange, but was treated and has been given a clean bill of health. He has always been on Heartworm Preventative, and we require Adopters to keep him on it for his entire lifetime. For more information about Adopting him please email FaithfulFriendsTXK@gmail.com.
