My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Tatum's adoption fee is $250**

We would love everyone to meet the sweet and handsome Tatum! Tatum’s rescue is one of those situation that we just happened to be in the right place at the right time for a puppy in need. One of our team members was at the shelter picking up two other dogs when they witnessed Tatum’s owner dragging him into the shelter to be euthanized (at his request) for the heinous crime of barking and waking him up. There was no way that we could let this sweet little boy face death for being a puppy, so our team member convinced the owner to surrender him to us and we are thrilled to have him! Tatum currently lives in TX with us, but is available for out-of-state adoption.

Tatum is a Lab/ Staffordshire Terrier mix and everyone who meets him thinks he is the just sweetest little man. He is quickly learning his kennel and house manners and gets very excited to go outside for play time. He is adventurous and curious about his new surroundings. He is currently 20 pounds and we estimate he will be full grown at about 45-50 pounds.

Tatum loves everything he meets… big dogs, little dogs, a couple of cats and several kids. He has been amazing with everything and everyone and just wants to play and be loved. Tatum is a young pup and has a lot of puppy energy. He needs plenty of exercise and outside play time. He would do best in a home that can provide him an appropriate outlet for his puppy energy and be able to give him plenty of outside time and exercise.

He needs an active, fun and patient new family to help him learn while getting exposure to all the great things this new life has to offer him. He will need continued puppy training to ensure that he is house trained and walks properly on his leash. He is very willing to learn and loves treats, so keep those in your pocket while you are training and he’ll be a very willing participant.

Tatum has been fully vetted and can join his new family as soon as you fall in love with his big smile and happy-go-lucky personality! He is eager to start a life with a family that is committed to loving him and sharing his zest for life. If you’d like to adopt Tatum or want additional information, please email us at adoptions@reggiesfriends.org. You can meet Tatum via video chat or in person after an adoption application is submitted.
