7/21/08 - Summer pictures were being taken at the castle and since today's temperature reached 102 degrees in the Yorkie Kingdom, Princess Carly was sure to remind all the pupsters to remain inside for their photo shoot. Cruise was really looking forward to his glamour shots, although for some debonair reason Cruise feels that when you look as gorgeous as he does, you don't have to worry about posing for anyone or anything. Also, knowing that every side is your good side, Cruise wasn't the least bit concerned about not looking right at the camera as the furtographer clicked away, because he knew that he would be the best looking furry knight in this years castle yearbook anyway.
Cruise is such a handsome boy, and as we all know beauty comes from within, and with Cruise he has a heart as big as the state of Texas. Cruise enjoys life and is a fun and very loving boy. He also enjoys his treats and car rides, but most of all he loves settling in for the night with his family and falling asleep while getting his ears massaged and his belly rubbed. Cruise has been looking for his forever loving home for quite some time and it has saddened him greatly seeing all of his buddies find their families, but not him. As I always tell Cruise, good things always come to those who wait, and with as long as Cruise has been waiting, he obviously has a fabulous family that will soon find their special Knight in Shining Armor and if that is you, then please feel free to fill out our on-line adoption application. 1/20/08 - Cruise is still waiting for his forever loving family to find him and take him home. Cruise is a very active furry knight who loves to watch over his courtyard when he goes outside to play. He thinks he's really cool when he jumps up on the patio table and overlooks his playground. There is a not a single squirrel in the Yorkie Kingdom who hasn't had a run in with Cruise and thankfully for the squirrels sake, they've made it out alive. Cruise is your typical male terrier who thinks he is so macho. but Cruise is also very lovable. Cruise was a little rambler on the loose who had to be humanely trapped by animal control to keep him from getting in trouble or hit by a car. And because no one cared enough about him to keep him on heartworm preventatives and keep him safely at home, he got heartworms. Thankfully, his treatment was successful and he is now one very healthy little boy.
Although we all love Cruise here at Carly's Castle, it saddens me greatly that his forever loving family hasn't found him yet, because I know he would love to have a home that he can call his very own. Cruise always runs up to the castle tower to look down as his other little castle siblings drive off to live happily ever after, knowing that they were chosen to be a member of a forever loving family. Cruise may not be your typical Yorkie, but when it comes to being a real lover boy with a heart of gold, Cruise is right up there at the top with the rest of them. Original biography - Welcome to the Yorkie Kingdom! You have just entered Carly's Castle and I would like to introduce to you one of the most handsome furry knights in the entire kingdom.... Cruise! One look at Cruise and there really isn't too much more that needs to be said. He has the most intriguing eyes and he is even more gorgeous in person. He has the silkiest, shiniest hair and has become the envy of all the Princesses' here at the Castle.... except for Princess Carly, of course. Cruise was pulled from a doggie kill prison at the last hour. He apparently was on the run and had outsmarted all the doggie police for quite some time but in the end and with hunger taking over, he couldn't escape the humane trap that they set up to catch him. Once pulled from the shelter, Cruise had to make a visit to the kingdom's vet. Even though he looked so healthy and handsome on the outside, he was very sick on the inside. Cruise tested positive for heartworms but he has since been treated and is doing very well. He was also neutered and had all of his teeth polished for that perfect Yorkie smile! Cruise gets along well with the other pupsters here at the Castle, even though he is a pretty independent pupster. He is also a very good jumper and loves to bark and chase after the squirrels with the other furry knights. He is definitely an active pupster but he is also one that enjoys sharing some laid back time to snuggle with his foster family.
