Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Boo is about 2-3 years old. weighs 40 lbs. She was a semi-feral dog living in the woods behinds my office that animal control had to trap to catch back in March 2013. I tried to catch her for several weeks prior with no luck.
We think that she is part Golden Retriever, with her fuzzy years, but smaller, she weighs around 40 lbs.
He nickname came from Boo Radley, the character in To Kill a Mockingbird as she was such a spook, no one could get close to her to tell if she was a he or a she. Once trapped, we could see that she was a she. She was vaccinated and spayed.
Boo got adopted in 2013, but recently returned. Her family asked us to help rehome her as she isn't happy being the only dog in the household. In 2014, everything was fine as one owner or the other was home most of the time. But with a new job and schedule, Boo found herself home alone for much of the day. She was terribly bored and showed signs of severe separation anxiety.
They said, "We aren't the right family for Boo anymore." And I agree, as I knew that Boo loves, loves, loves playing with other dogs. So we took her back in to help find her a better suited family.
Boo isn't aggressive towards other dogs. She tries to coax my hospital cats to play, but they aren't having any of it. Her perfect family has other dogs to play with, and maybe a fenced in yard to hang out and play in.
She has a microchip in.
You can find her videos from 2013 on my youtube channel, search for andymathis.
Current videos of her playing with the other foster dogs are on Instagram- http://www.instagram.com/andymathisdvm
