My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Walker and I am a 6 year old neutered male Hound / Pointer cross. I am a big boy at a little over 75 pounds, and strong. I am learning how to walk nicely on a leash, but sometimes I forget. Let's join obedience class together so that I can learn how to be even better on a leash! I am generally good with other dogs, however I need an experienced owner, who is able to properly introduce me to fellow canines. Once I form a bond with a friend, I will protect my friend from other dogs, so if I go to dog parks, I would prefer to go alone to avoid confrontation. I can't help it, I'm loyal to my friends and family. I can work on this behaviour, but I need an experienced person to help me. I would prefer to be in a house with all girls (except handsome me) or all boys because of my protective behaviour. I would really prefer dogs closer to my own size, and to stay away from cats. I am good with kids, but due to my size need to be carefully supervised. I travel very nicely in vehicles, even big rigs. Can we be travel buddies? I am also crate trained, and good in my crate. I will give you a hug if you pick me! I am house trained, crate trained, neutered, and UTD on all of my shots. I am ready to be your companion. Are you ready to be my companion?
