Meet Elsie!! 2 1/2 yr old spayed female Griff with a natural tail! 14 lbs, up to date at the vet and ready for her new home. Elsie has a dominant personality and will try to take charge of her person if given the chance. She will need a firm but gentle new owner to keep her in line and help teach her that she is NOT the boss.

Elsie is still young and very willing to please with a strong leader. She is in a foster home with other dogs and gets along great with all – but as a young dog, wants to play. She has been wonderful with her housebreaking – she has learned to put her nose on the door to go out. Her favorite thing is running around the yard chasing little lizards.

Elsie is crate trained and sleeps quietly at night in her crate. She is still working on leash training, and responds very well to correction on pulling.

Elsie is being fostered in Melbourne, Florida.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
