Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hope came to The Devoted Barn as a heartworm positive, emaciated stray from the streets of Detroit. Now, shes an energetic, happy pup!
She's sweet as can be with people and kids. She loves to snuggle and follow you around everywhere. She loves to play fetch. Hope knows sit, stay, and come, and responds well to commands. She is very easy to train, as she is very food driven. Hope is crate trained and can stay in the crate all day with no accidents. She is also house trained.
Hope does well with other dogs that she is properly introduced to. She can get a little pushy at times so a proper introduction is a must. Hope is able to jump fences so she must be kept on a tie out even when in a fenced in backyard. She enjoys a good cat chase so she is looking for a home with no cats or a very dog savvy cat.
Hope is looking for an active family, preferably with older children that can give her the exercise that she needs. She would make a fantastic running partner! Do you have room for a new running coach in your family?
