Here's what the humans have to say about me:
COURTESY POSTING PLEASE CONTACT THE PERSON BELOW I pray and am hopeful that my furry kids find the right and perfect home. On June 30, 2013 I adopted 2 wonderful cats at the same time from a crowded shelter. My intention was to give them a loving forever home. Although Rocky and Lexie are not related to one another theyâÂÂve bonded and so did I with them. I love them dearly and it breaks my heart to have to re-home them. I just received a terminal cancer diagnosis and am not expected to live very long. My greatest desire is to see them re-homed by June 30th, with those who would take good care of them and receive as much joy from watching them play and interact as I have.. My preference would be that they stay together as they really enjoy each other, yet if they cannot, getting a good home is of utmost importance. I never in my wildest dreams thought that they would out live me. They bring me so much joy. I watch them nestle together, play together as they roll around in a moving ball of fur. They are affectionate, inquisitive, engaging, and very interactive. I have all their cat toys, scratching stuff, etc., (to supply to the rescue/adopter), and they scratch where they should - on the scratching posts. RockyâÂÂs age is about 5-6 years old. HeâÂÂs a domestic short hair, white/grey/black Tabby cat. HeâÂÂs spayed, has his claws, neutered and all his shots. Rocky has a shorter right front leg than the front left. No one knew if it was a birth deformity or what the cause might have been⦠It does not stop him in any fashion,.heâÂÂs agile, energetic, affectionate, very playful, and loves to bask in the sun on one of the window perches. Being in an over-full shelter was traumatizing to Rocky and I don't want him to end up back in that environment. He has a micro chip. Lexie is about 1 ½ - 3 year old cat domestic short hair/mix with multi brown colored Tabby. She is spayed, has her claws, and all her shots. SheâÂÂs a great companion and she, like Rocky, is gentle, affectionate, and responsive to interactions with people and loves to bask in the sun. She also has a micro chip. They are currently both indoor cats. I would be happy to hear from anyone who is interested in adding these beautiful furry friends to their family. My name is Joanie my phone number is 816-665-5754 (preferred method of contact). My email is: angljoan@kc.rr.com (sometimes have a bit of trouble with email - so if I don't respond right away please try my phone - I can receive text). Please spread the word Any way you can help would be wonderful. It would take a huge load off my mind to know that my babies are safe - before something happens to me. Much Love and Blessings, Joanie
