My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Zoe currently lives in Houston, Texas and is available for adoption in your area. Her adoption fee is $450, which includes her airline ticket, travel crate and travel bed. The crate and bed are hers to keep once she arrives. She is available to "meet" via video chat once an adoption application is submitted. She will remain in Houston until she is adopted.**

There’s only one way to describe our girl Zoe and that is Happy, Happy, Happy! Nothing gets this girl down and she was even this way when we found her at the shelter here in Houston, Texas, about to be turned in by a person that found her as a stray. We couldn’t let her even go into the facility because she’s too wonderful to be at risk of not making it out of there. We weren’t there for Zoe, but we sure left with her. She doesn’t know it, but that was the beginning of a big change in her life. We promised her a wonderful family and we can’t wait to find them. Zoe is currently living in Houston, Texas with us, but is available for out of state adoption.

Zoe is a Staffordshire Terrier and those ears make us think she’s part rabbit! They stick straight up all day, every day. Her expressive ears are definitely a conversation starter. She is still just a puppy and estimated at 6 to 8 months old. Her perfectly symmetrical facial markings are so pretty and unique. She is currently about 30 pounds and we estimate that she will be full grown at about 45 -50 pounds.

As with all puppies, Zoe does hysterical puppy things. She’s clumsy, silly, likes to be involved in every activity and just loves life. We discovered that she is very interested in chasing the vacuum for fun. Most dogs run from it and she thinks it’s a game. Games and toys are Zoe’s favorite. She wants to play constantly, so she needs active people to spend her time with.

She’s met big dogs, little dogs, a couple of cats and several kids and has the same reaction to all of them…love me and play with me! She has a lot of puppy energy and needs plenty of outside time and exercise. She needs an active, fun and patient new family to help her learn while getting exposure to all the great things this new life has to offer her. She will need continued puppy training to ensure that she is house trained and walks properly on her leash. She loves treats, so keep those in your pocket while you are training and she’ll be a very willing participant.

She’s eager to start a life with a family that is committed to loving her and sharing her zest for life. Zoe is available for adoption and her adoption fee is $450, which includes her airline ticket, travel crate, comfy bed and required travel documents. She is currently living in a foster home in Houston, Texas and will remain here until she is adopted. If you’d like to adopt Zoe or want additional information, please email us at adoptions@reggiesfriends.org. You can meet Zoe via video chat after an adoption application is submitted.
