Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Panny is very sweet young adult purebred Cocker Spaniel. He LOVES people and will always be by your side. He loves to play and is very energetic. He would be a great hiking and activity partner. He was going to be sold to a puppy mill, and had a secluded start to life, so he can be a little shy, especially meeting new dogs for the first time. While he is not aggressive, he definitely prefers to spend time with his humans, not other dogs. He has a saaaaaaaad howl when you are out of his sight, and can be vocal if not well exercised. Panny has one favorite yellow football, and he will play fetch with it alllllllll day. We haven't found another toy he loves as much yet :)
Panny DOES have a bite history in which he has broken skin. This has been due to stubborn/dominance issues, rather than aggression. This is easily managed with a dog savvy owner. If you are willing to make Panny your partner, and know how to set boundaries for respect, he will reward you hundred fold. However, for this reason, we will not adopt Panny to any homes with children under 18 years old.
Panny's total cost to our rescue totaled approx $500 to date. Without the help of animal lovers like yourself, our rescue cannot help all the animals that come to us in need. If you would like to make a donation to help us help dogs, PLEASE stop by our vet, or phone in to donate via credit card: Cottonwood Veterinary Clinic, 45793 Luckakuck Way, Chilliwack BC (604-824-5848). Donating is easy, just tell them you would like to make a donation to Carried Through Animal Rescue's account.
Panny's adoption fee is $500 and you can see more pictures of him here:
