Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Girlfriend came in with Boyfriend as strays and weren't claimed by an owner. She is a young thing, maybe just a little over 1 year old, and was a bit underweight. She obviously likes to be with other male dogs, but we found she does not like meeting dogs nose to nose through a fence. She prefers the appropriate method of being allowed to slowly sniff the opposite end within her own timing and comfort level. She is a bit on the timid side around novel things, but is friendly and gentle with humans. She did not guard her food, and did very well for her temperament testing and body handling. She has some nice leash manners and is very gentle taking treats. She is quiet, calm, and reserved at this point, and completely ignored the shelter cats. As her owner, you will be her guide and protector, not putting her in situations that make her stiffen and get tense. Let's be honest about that!
Pupdate - although we don't know if Girlfriend is housetrained, we can definitely say that she keeps her overnight kennel sparkling clean and waits until she gets outside to potty.
Girlfriends adoption fee is $125 and includes spay, current vaccines, microchip, free vet visit, 30 days free pet health insurance, and custom engraved ID tag.
