Everett is being fostered in MO

Everett is a happy outgoing 3 year old purebred Australian Shepherd dark merle (more black than white) with a tail. He has a very beautiful contrasting coat and one aqua blue eye and one brown with a speck of blue. Everett is a big sweet boy who loves to be with his people. He is at your side ready and willing to assist you in anything you need. In fact he is currently very attently learning how to run the washer in his foster home. He loves to snuggle and get belly rubs, he is extremely loyal. Everett was found wandering as a stray and despite all that he is the kindest soul and a sponge for knowledge. The wheels are ever turning in his head and he is extremely observant and learns quickly. Everett is house trained and goes straight into his kennel when asked but he does not need to be crated, he is quiet and finds himself a spot to settle in and rest. Everett is very smart and in the short amount of time since he's been rescued he has learned some basic commands and his name. Everett is good on a leash and loves to go for walks, he is good with children and loves to be groomed and is a breeze to bathe he loves massages period, even if they include water. He is good with other dogs but would prefer a home with no dogs because he bonds so deeply with his person and is deserving of peace and stability and not having to compete for attention after having to fend for himself for so long. Everett would be the very best friend you could ever want, he's easy maintenance and will be happy to just enjoy a quiet peaceful home and loving company. He would love a patient owner who is willing to continue his education with further training and gently teach him how to play and introduce him to toys, sadly he has never had any of this and would enjoy this greatly if taught. Everett is up to date on his vaccinations and he is current on his flea and tick and heartworm preventatives.
