Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, I'm Blondie, and I need a very special adopter! You see, I have some special needs.
I spent the first part of my life at a hoarder's house. I am very lucky, because I got rescued, but I have some intestinal problems. I had to have surgery, and now I need an experienced adopter (or long term fosterer) who will be able to monitor whether my intestines are working normally or not. Since my surgery I have been feeling great, but there is always a chance that I will have some more problems. I also have to have medication a few times a month, but as you can see from my picture I love it! I'm very happy to take it without any problems!
I will definitely be worth the extra effort though, because I am one of the sweetest rabbits ever! I am a small bunny with lots of personality! I am very calm but curious, and I like to be petted and held. Yes, unlike many rabbits I don't mind being held! I also like to greet everyone who comes to the foster house - I never met a stranger! And check out my ears! One is up and the other is down - I'm almost a lop!
I'm pretty good in my litter box, and I have been spayed. If you would like to adopt me, my fosterer would be happy to talk to you about how to take care of me!
And now, a message from Huntsville Friends of Rabbits:
For more information on our group please go to: www.huntsvillefriendsofrabbits.com
Our adoption policies:
The adoption fee is $50 which helps defray the considerable costs of spay/neuter, other veterinary expenses, food, and equipment. All of our rabbits have received a full vet check up and are spayed/neutered. We adopt only to indoor homes, and prefer adult-only homes. We do not adopt rabbits as pets for children. We consider homes with older children, dogs or ferrets on a case-by-case basis.
If you are over 21 and have the time, energy, love and financial resources to care for a rabbit we would be happy to talk to you about adopting one of our fabulous foster bunnies! Please email us at huntsvillebunnies@hotmail.com and tell us a little about yourself, including why you would like a bunny and your previous experience with rabbits (if any). Please include your phone number so we may call you about the adoption.
Please note we are a little picky – we love these bunnies and since they have already been through the shelter once we want to make sure they have a great home the second time around! We do screen applicants carefully, as well as require a home visit. We adopt only within a five hour drive of Huntsville, AL.
