My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adoption fee $75

Zoey came into the shelter as a stray who had been hit by a car and had a dislocated hip. She got fixed up while she was at the shelter and then came to the rescue for her recovery period. Other than a few little scars on her hip you would never know that she had such injuries. Zoey is strong and muscular. She's kinda like a tomboy because she loves to play and wrestle with a couple of the other dogs. But, at night she curls up in the bed above my head and keeps watch over us as we sleep. She is an amazing dog that has healed up and come out of her shell beautifully since being in her foster home. So now she is looking for the perfect home to spend the rest of her life in.

Zoey is available for adoption through Double E Rescue Ranch. Adopters must live within 250 miles of Copperas Cove, Texas.
The first step of the adoption process is to complete the adoption application on our website at www.DoubleERescueRanch.org
After receiving the application we will contact you to further discuss the dog that your interested in and schedule a meet and greet.
Our adoption process also includes a home visit and adoption contract.
Due to the fact that the majority of our dogs are small in size or older in age we generally do not adopt to homes that have children under 10 years of age for safety reasons. We will possibly consider it on a case by case basis, depending on the personality of the dog.

The adoption donation fee for Zoey is $75 and includes the following:
-Current on DHPP Vaccine
-Current on Bordatella (Kennel Cough) Vaccine
-Current on Rabies Vaccine
-Spayed/Neutered
-Microchip
-Heartworm Tested and on monthly prevention if they are negative and on slow kill heartworm treatment if positive. (slow kill medication will be provided with the adoption.)
-1 Month of Heartworm Prevention
-Bag of current food
-Collar/harness and Leash if needed
-Lifetime support from the rescue
