Here's what the humans have to say about me:
**Camryn will be at Pet Valu Binbrook for National Adoption Weekend April 17-19 as follows: Friday--6-9 PM, Saturday and Sunday -- 11 AM -3 PM. **
Camryn and Claire came to us through a network of amazing rescuers that call themselves Isla Animals. They are a rescue group based out of the Cancun area of Mexico that focus on humane education and spaying and neutering of domestic and street animals.
Camryn, Claire and their sister were left in a box when they had barely opened their eyes outside of the vet clinic that Isla Animal uses. Due to their vet Arturo's quick action, he was able to save 2 of the puppies and we are happy to say that Camryn and Claire are healthy, playful pups looking for their new homes in Canada. As unfortunate as it is, that one pup did not survive, Camryn and Claire beat the odds and have a much brighter future than many dogs from Mexico.
Camryn is the shyer of the two pups, however, she is a bit more of a trouble maker--but in a good way! She is playful, quirky and has a big personality. Camryn did grow up in a shelter, so she is learning what it is like to be in a home. She is coming along well, but will need a bit of extra help with her socialization. Camryn would love to find a home with an individual or family that is home more often than not and can dedicate lots of time to her. She would also love a backyard to romp around in.

As Camryn is young, she will definitely benefit from structure, routine, socialization and training. She is a smart and agile little girl who loves to play, cuddle and play some more. Camryn would be a great dog for obedience classes and potentially agility when she is older. As we do not know exactly what is in her mix, we can only estimate her size. Full grown, she is tracking to be around 25-30 lbs. She does have a naturally lean frame and long legs. Her ears tend to have a mind of their own though. :)
If you are interested in adopting Camryn, please submit an adoption application through our website. Camryn will be at Pet Valu Binbrook, however, adoptions will not be taking place during the event. Camryn welcomes any potential families or friends to come and meet her in person.
